Value Medicare understands that the privacy and security of its clients' personal health information is critical. Value Medicare, in order to perform its services, will receive information from its clients or clients' physicians, and deliver information to potential participating hospitals.
Aggregate information based on multiple clients' data, not containing any personally identifiable information, may be provided to third parties or disclosed in marketing materials and other literature prepared by Value Medicare for dissemination and distribution to third parties and the public.
Value Medicare will use commercially reasonable security measures to protect against the unintended disclosure, loss, misuse, and alteration of clients' information under Value Medicare's control. Value Medicare will take technical, contractual, administrative and physical steps to protect against unauthorized access to and disclosure of personally identifiable information.
Value Medicare intends to protect clients' privacy to the fullest extent possible as described herein while also fulfilling its responsibility to uphold all applicable laws and regulations. Due to potential legal requirements and other possible circumstances, Value Medicare cannot ensure that all client information will never be disclosed or accessed in ways not otherwise described herein. Value Medicare may be compelled under law to disclose information to government or third parties under certain circumstances or third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications. In addition, Value Medicare may transfer client information to the purchaser of Value Medicare's business, or to an affiliated company, but only so long as such party agrees to maintain the privacy of client information in a manner that is substantially similar to this statement. |
